Sano takes on Tekann...
Ok, I went in an abugida / logography direction... Consonants Independent Initial Clusters Medial Clusters Final Clusters Vowels Marked on Consonant Independent Now, as you can see there are 53 glyphs that are still undefined, I did nothing for punctuation, so they could be used for that, or, they could be used for particularly common words, such as pronouns, or even extremely common syllables. I created the independent vowels to be used if they begin a word, however, they could also be used in a glyph creation style, by stacking vowel glyphs under or above the appropriate consonant glyph to create a large word glyph. Sample: "What is your name?"

That is cool dude, Good work..:)

Another style of arranging the glyphs using the independent vowels...read top to bottom, left to right.

O M G That is wonderful. It looks amazing and I can actually see how to reverse engineer most of those to look like an older hieroglyphic system. Sano, I ma just blown away...

I'm glad you like it. When you decide on the 53 syllables or words for the undefined glyphs I'd be happy to update the image for you.

I'm thinking to leave blank for now so I can fill in their meaning as classifiers, affixes, and other grammatical markers. Thank you for doing such a wonderful script, truly marvelous.

NP, I'm very happy to be a part of Tekann and to have helped you. FYI, I was going to try an audio sample to go with the examples I made, but I have misplaced my mic.

I'd love to hear the audio, if you make one. First to hear Tekann in the lower pitch and also to see if my concept of xsampa sounds are right... :)

I can actually see how to reverse engineer most of those to look like an older hieroglyphic system When you've done this, even to just a few of the glyphs, I'd really love to see it.

I'll try to do a few tomorrow. Today's the bad day in my schedule (running 830 am to 930 pm work and school), but I'm starting to get an idea of what i'll look for.

doctrellor- 09-04-2007

And I'm looking at Proto-cuneiform & Proto-Elamite as an idea on a writing... so who knows Khang, we could take your script to the dawn of writing..:P

Ok, I've been playing with the script and have made some very slight modifications. As shown in the bottom set, I fused the vowel diacritics to the consonant glyphs, and they're still different enough to identify. In the top set I wrote a -*test*-('") phrase: "the Great Temple of Akjunn" stu'iksa tre'exta mi akjunn It is written in short rows, with the words broken up to fit: 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc reusing the diacritics, but to the right side, I fused a single dot for a word break, double for thought break.

That is truly awesome.
