Reasonable Response Times What is a reasonable time to expect a response before players can continue? Its not fun to expect someone to wait months for another to pick up the thread and continue, but it also isn't fair to expect people to be logged on 24/7. Possibly a graduated system depending on the size of the action? i.e.
5 days for minor running of state
2 weeks for major events (wars, disaster response)
vacations can be taken (please notify us) for however long needed
If someone disappears for a month without notice, their nation is assumed to be in revolution and other players are free to invade and such. If you return, you can try to salvage your nation or have the survivors relocate, but you can't expect it to be in pristine condition (unless your absence was planned).
What do you think?

To me, these sound very reasonable, however, considering that many of our current participants do attend some level of school, perhaps we should extend them just a bit...say 5 days and 2 weeks? (I say two weeks so that all info can be reviewed and then responded to in detail)
