Is your signature written by writing big, and then make it small and dense so that it looks like a script?
Or is it really a script? It's so neat :)
My sig was made by using the chart from Omniglot and reducing the size.
Oh, that's true... It's there.
How did you make them so perfect? I mean, to get them on there?

"A picture says more than a thousand words" it's called.
But it should be something like "One word says more than a thousand others" When you speak, Qtom :o
Just well done! I am really amazed how you did it.... :D

This is something I call mogua, it's a play on moj (writing system) + gua (face), if you look closely, every grapheme of Moj can be made with a combination of these brush strokes.
Again, if anyone has any specific requests for calligraphy, please feel free to ask.Doing something like this has been attempted by me many times, where I failed. Ended up looking like a LED clock. Do you any advice on how to go about a diagram like this, or could you describe how you decided on brush strokes(and maybe you have a system for organizing them?)?

Other than deep meditation and reflection on a symbol/glyph/emblem that you have a connection with, no...
The face you see there came to me when I was much younger...about 9 y/o. I used to sketch it not knowing what it would lead to, I used to draw it on my hand with a ball-point pen and not wash it off for days at a time.
I'm not sure that I suffer from any Aspergers, or Autism, or any other type of "dysfunction", but I do know that there are certain symbols and emblems that I become fixated on, this was/is one of them.
Keep looking, keep sketching, be patient, it will come to you.

Very good, I think. It looks like Arabic... And sounds like Arabic... Are you an Arabo-phyl? (Just asking)

I do like Arabic, as I do all Semitic langs, I am also very fond of quite a few others, so, no, I don't consider myself an "Arabo-phyl".
Also, I don't think Qatama sounds like Arabic per se...a few words here and there...but mostly if you take the phrase in my sig and search google with it, most of the info that comes up is on this site or SouthEast Asian langs, especially Vietnamese and Cambodian.

The top says Kolton /kolton/, Qatama has not /T/ or /b/, so I didn't do Booth. The bottom says tongaq /toNaX/, a word used to refer to sugar or anything sweet.

A poem by Ryokan Taigu
Down in the village

here deep in the mountain

everywhere the sound of the pines

Your calligraphy is interesting, when I look at words like 'tamaja', it reminds me of fire, or candles. Do you use a specific type of pen?
As for requests, do you prefer single words, sentences, poetry..? Perhaps this :
" At the break of dawn, the sun's light reveals a lone petal fall into the river. "

Thank you for the comment. I use a regular calligraphy pen, found at most arts & crafts stores:

For requests I prefer single words, or short and concise phrases...independent clauses.

First of all, I enjoy Moj, it's a beautful script to just stare at. I'm just not sure about when it's compounded into sentences. It seems more suited to single inscriptions, a possible jigsaw puzzle?
And a request. What for? Introvert.
Thank you in advance.
