Liron
http://www.omniglot.com/writing/liron.php The Liron alphabet was invented by Ruth Hinckley to write notes in secret when she didn't want others to read them, though the similarity to English letters makes it easy to read at a glance with just a little practice. It was influenced by the Runic alphabets, was designed to be written with only straight lines - vertical and diagonal. Hey look! Runes! Seriously...the continual rehashing of natscripts is starting to wear thin on me.

And all the myriads of runic systems - yawn.
