Overall, nothing special. I do like the idea...almost a featural script for English. If Bob had perhaps matched up more of the phonetic aspects, such as "s" and "z" being similar rather that "s" and "f", then it might be more impressive.
More phonetical, and less like a cipher would be better, IMO.

I'm going to disagree Sano. I'd say that because 's' and 'f' look more similar than 's' and 'z', the chance of misreading them would be reduced. Granted 'z' doesn't enjoy a high letter frequency, but it still is phonetially closer than 'f' to 's'.

Considering the point of my statement was that I think the overall cipher should have been based more on phones, I'm not sure why you're disagreeing, though I do understand your point, and appreciate the opinion.
