I am Legend. (~spoiler)
Ok, so I went to see I am Legend last night, thought I was in for a real treat I did. I was sadly mistaken...the story is a rehash of a book that my sister-in-law read, and she gave me a run-down of the plot before I left to go see the flick, bad idea. I expected a very intricate story with loads of special effects to drive it home. If you have seen Cast Away, then you have seen I am Legend. s/island/New York Will Smith gives a heart-felt, emotional performance, but who cares when he's giving it alone for more than 90 mins. The special effects are sporadic and scarce for most of the movie and were nothing that you haven't seen. I would say the most entertaining portion of the movie was too short, too lame, and something that is almost standard affair for any action movie out there. Wait for DVD.
