Diplomacy ... or Who Loves You and Who Do You Love...
I'm opening this tentatively so that nations can begin forming opinions of each other (though not necessarily relations with each other). I know Qtom thinks its early, and it is, but first impressions make a big difference. I can't force you, but if you wish to participate in this thread, understand that this is your nation's opinion of another nation, NOT your opinion of another player. I say this because this thread will NOT be degraded into a flame palace for people arguing about topics from elsewhere. Play as your nation and leave the personal stuff out. As you get to know more about other nations, don't forget to come back and update the views. And remember, these opinions don't need to be reasonable. Ignorance of another people's ways often leads to outrageous ideas which only clear up in time as the people get to know each other better.
That said... (feel free to use this form)
What the citizens of Skjeimitekann think about...
Tamega - Their clannishness makes them unstable and dangerous... wouldn't want to be on their bad side.
Raitolia - They're frivolous and vain, but clever. We don't trust them.
Ambvaiira - We don't know them very well yet...
Cirés - We have to be careful in dealing with these barbarians, they are violent. They might be cannibals.
Nokeo - The savages of the icy realms are a backward lot, willing to trade some invaluable treasures for almost nothing.
Mikáo - We don't know them very well yet...

The country of Ambvaiira dislikes the nation of Cirés, because of the treatment of the Nyamau tribe when half of its people were under country of Cirés. We also look forward to forming a possible ally with Nokeo. After Our ships make their way north I will post what i think of the rest of the countries

Tamega sees all other nations as tenuous allies to be bartered with for goods and trade, nothing more.
Tamega guards it's inner borders fiercely and dislikes uninvited guests, regardless of their supposed intentions.

In general, Raitolïa tries to be kind of OK towards everyone, just for the sake of knowing more about them. The degree varies on a case-by-case basis.
Tamega - Trade is fine, but they're a bit too full of themselves.
Skjemitekann - Theocratic style of government is a minus, but other than that, no real problems.
Ambvaiira - We don't know them very well yet...
Cirés - We don't know them very well yet...
Nokeo - Tribal structure makes them difficult to deal with en masse, opinion varies by tribe.
Mikáo - Oddly, we don't know them very well yet...

The people of Keo don't know too much of the world beyond general trade and the information provided through it. They are more familiarised with the nearest countries and their people rather than the far ones, due to a limitation in transportation. They also find it interesting how others around have adopted the term "Nokeo", which is the common way of referring to their own country, formed of the prefix no- which denotes a certain importance, and Keo.
Ambvaiira: They are fair people living north to Cirés, a bit far away, and easily angered. The long trip may bring in return good profit if trade is good, but actual trade with this nation is currently limited. They are regarded as best avoided in disputes or times of war, and avoided in topics relating to Cirés.
Cirés: Culturally they share similarities with the people of Keo. They are good traders, and are relied on a lot. Just as Ambvaiira, they are best avoided when at war (or revolution).
Mikáo, Raïtolia, Skjemitekann: There has been no direct contact with them, they are unknown.
Tamega: They are the furthest known country to the people of Keo, and are often depicted in stories as ruthless, but modernized. Though the last actual contact with them is unknown, which makes the people of Keo think they're fictional.
Elsewhere: unknown.

Raitoli'ri attitude toward Êġarol-
They seem nice enough - they share a couple of our values, and don't contrast with us enough to be a problem.
