The people of the villages are very affectionate to their nature. So much it evolved into religion. They believe nature around them reflects their personality and behaviour at all times, and they do therefore never chop more wood than necessary, for instance, and they make sure to not take too much at one spot. The same goes for animals: They do not take more fish than necessary. They believe that if the nature around their house is well shaped and beautiful when they die; they go to the eternal world. This world is said to be in the forests, and there are many "sagas" of where it is situated. Natural Resources: - Corn: Mostly wheat; in the norh of the country along the river Féros (The river through the capital) and most most place sin the south, inland.. - Fish: Everywhere along the coast. - Salt: Along the coast inside the bay of Cáocáros. - Timber: South on the main peninsula. The island of Cáaósos, the big island to the south, has lots of timber, and was severely damaged by the chopping. - Stone: Along the western border, in the rocky landscape there. - Silver: The same as with stone. - Iron: Just like with silver and stone, but iron mines are also to be found on Cáaósos. Crafting: Lately, blowing glass out of all the sand that exists within Cámas' borders, as well as the old tradition of pottery, have started flourishing and glass is generally considered a sign of wealth. Glassblowers are to be found mainly in villages along the coast between the Capital, Cirósos and the city of Macános. Along the coast throughout the whole country, but mainly in the Sesoáeas area and on Cáaósos, the production of different sizes of boats are placed. Manufactered goods: - Boats: Sesoáeas and Cáaósos area. - Glass: Around the eastern and northern bay of Cáocáros - Pottery: Around the eastern and northern bay of Cáocáros - Hides: In the vast forests of the inland. - Fur: In the vast forests of the inland. - Clothing: Of hide or fur; throughout the whole country. - Fine pieces of wood: Chopped timber to different sizes; mainly to the south History: The country is not old, as it was founded by several tribes. The uniting started in -334 and was fullfilled -308. Ciros died out of sickness in -307. This is because of all the trading villages understood that they had to unite to continue fair and righteous trading between the current capital and hundreds of towns and settlements along the coast. Ciros was the leader of the Veranapon (The river tribe) and was the one who started uniting all of the other tribes. This tribe lived where the capital now is. This is also the origin of the capital's name: Cirósos = City of Cir (abbreviation of Ciros). - There has not been much revolts in the country except the series of revolts on Aséris Sehinis (Then: Nacoaósúmon; The Pensinsula of the Sun), that happened in year -32. The people of the peninsula to the north-east had severe revolts lasting about a year, but the revolts kept getting worse and worse, and in the end hundreds were killed. The results were that the whole peninsula joined the Nation of Ambvaiira. The cause of these revolts was that Nacoaósúmon had an increasing amount of Ambvaiirian settlers, who wanted justice, as they were not treated as members of Cámas. Even today the tention between these to countries are high. - Except in the main cities, tribal villages are highly regular throughout the whole country. Mostly at the coast to the north because of fishing, but to the south, they live inside the dense forests as well as along the coast. The inland tribes depend on the fur and meat trade with the coast tribes. Salt is obviously the main trade resource for the coast tribes, and is valued high inland. After the meat has come to the southern coast, they only take a very small amount themselves, and once again trades it along with the people of Nokeo, as the vast swampy areas bearly contain any edible mammals. In return, special berries and fruits who just grow on certain trees in these swamps are given back in trade. These two nations stick together, and many tribal villages in Cámas rely on Nokeo trading to make a living. The capital of this trading is the city of Nocésihos not too far form Nokeo. - The major chopping on the island Cáaósos was the result of the vast corruption. The forests are now on their way back to normal, even though chopping there is very strict regulated. * I'll be keeping updating this post as soon as I have thought through more history, religion... etc

Would it be possible for me to reform the language? I figured out that using Cirusz won't be easy... But my othe rlanguage which I have been working with for half a year now - now and then - is better ;) I just have to edit some of the pics etc. The other thing is that I can't be on much, becasue of school.

fmra- 09-09-2007

Feel free to redo the language, just make sure you change the names of things if you need to. And update (if you have one) the language thread in the other forum. We understand if you don't have a lot of time, just do what you can and let us know how things are going. There's no hurry. If you must drop out, please let me or Sano or Tolkien_Freak know so we can revise the project information. :)

Finally fully updated

Sano- 12-11-2007

Finally fully updated  Good to see! Have you considered looking in on the Play IC forum?

Aleco- 12-11-2007

Yeah, I was reading throuhg it just now :) What is the OOC? Great to see how far this project has evolved so far! And I am very sorry to have been away so much, but school was killing me this quarter, as it's the most crucial of them all ;) But now my mid terms are over, and school's pretty relaxed.

Hakaku- 12-12-2007

Beats me what OOC stands for; I should probably know, and if that's the case, I've forgotten :P Anyhow, glad to see you're still here; I felt lonely in my little corner of the world. Out of curiousity, how do you pronounce the names of your cities, or at least of your country?

Tolkien_Freak- 12-13-2007

OOC is 'out of character'. It's where we discuss world events from a point of view other than our nation's. And yes, seeing your orthography next to X-SAMPA would be nice.

Aleco- 12-13-2007

Oh, yeah, that's true, sorry! And thanks for the OOC explanation! EDIT: OK, then, I added a link to some info about pronuncation and a tiny bit of grammar ;)

Tolkien_Freak- 12-13-2007

Thanks. It's cool how you use a delta.

Aleco- 12-14-2007

Thanks - the reason I used it was simply becsause I find the edh rather ugly in languages outside Icelandic and Faroese somehow :P
