Cecenth
...the word for One. (I've got 0-15 already) This is intended to dovetail with my efforts over on the conlang forum....here, my goal is to get a good grasp on syntax (and, while I'm at it, figure out scripts) Accordingly, I tried picking phones that were lined up all in a row (okay, two rows)...since to me the point of this was the syntax. These three are all word-final...or that's how they started out. /T/ <th> /dɦ/ <dh> /bɦ/ <bh> /T/ places it in the numerical noun class, and is used for numbers. <dh> places it in the male noun class, and is used for mens’ names. <bh> places it in the female noun class, and is used for womens’ names. (again, at least originally) not to be confused with the above: /b_h/ <b bh> /d_h/ <d dh> …these latter two are <b> and <d> if they are ever placed word-final, and marked accordingly in the script. Velar: /c/ <c> /g/ <g> /gɦ/ <g> /C/ <ch> /γ/ <γ> <gh>> /N/ <ng> Glottal: /S/ <sh> Semi-vowels: /w/ <w> /wʕ/ <w> /j/ <j> Word-initial / wʕ/ is <w>; all other are <w> word-final <wa> is / wʕa/ <wh> is / wʕA/ <wh> is /wu_r/ <we> is /wi/ Vowels: /a/ <a> /A/ <a> /u i/ <i> /u_r i_r/ <u> /2/ <2> <o> is found only in the fossilized <w> prefix meaning “mine” Possessive & in words derived from the Possessive. Companions: ge nga ce cha sha the bhe dha ju wu wʕi * (there are also all of these consonants without their companion vowels - these are word-final only) REPLACEMENT VOWELS: Lets say you have the word bhedhace...in that case, since the vowels are already present alongside their consonants, you need only write bhdhc. However, lets stir it up some -- bhadhace instead. Since there's an <e> rather than an <a>, and since <a> isn't a companion vowel to <bh>, then you have to write out bhadhc. * = this isn't really a problem, as <i> and <u> are used interchangably; accordingly, their symbol in the script is highly similar to one another. script:

Looks cool. Do you have any longish sample sentences?

Looks cool. thank you. Do you have any longish sample sentences? yes, but I didn't post them because they were from an alphabet version before I settled on this abiguda(ish) form. I'm converting the sentances from alphabet to abiguda now.

I was just wondering if you had samples of the Romanized version - easier for us to hear what the language sounds like.
